I live on the Hampshire/Berkshire borders with my husband and Norfolk Terrier and have fleeting visits from my two very independent late teens! A self confessed baby stalker, I adore newborns and marvel at the everyday miracle of birth. After a career in the City I spent the years whilst my children were at school teaching Pilates and my appreciation of the mind/body connection was born. I wish I knew what I know now back when I gave birth to my own children, but that aside, I was fortunate to have had wonderful women attending my births who made me feel respected and supported. Despite my own children needing me a little less these days, physically at least, I still feel I have an awful lot of nurturing still to do and am grateful that I am able to positively impact the experience of women who are creating and extending their families today.
When my head is not in a birth book it will be in a cookery book. Although inspired, I still scratch my head at what to cook every night!
To balance the foodie side of my character I need to keep moving and as well as the odd gym visit I love to salsa dance once or twice a week.
And if I get a spare few minutes theres always a holiday to plan..........
